Getting started
What is Toiya?
Toiya is a test-prep question bank and practice platform from StudyToday. It has 12,300+ SAT, ISEE, AP, and AMC questions with explanations, mock exams, worksheets, and tools for tutors.
Is Toiya free?
Yes. Practice questions, explanations, mock tests, and public worksheets are free for students, parents, and tutors.
Which exams does Toiya cover?
The SAT, ISEE Middle and Upper Level, AMC 8, 10, and 12, AP Calculus and Precalculus, plus an AP Calculus AB/BC free-response bank. See how the question bank is organized.
Do I need an account?
You can browse public worksheets without an account. A free account lets you practice by skill, take mock tests, and track progress.
For students and parents
How should my child use Toiya to prepare?
Start with a full mock test, then turn on Grind Mode so Toiya can point to the skills that need work. Practice in short sets, read every explanation, and retake a mock test every few weeks to measure progress. ISEE families can start on our ISEE practice page.
What are the mock SAT and mock ISEE like?
They follow the real section structure, question counts, and timing. Mock SATs are built from real past SAT tests, and mock ISEEs are full-length practice tests. Each mock is scored automatically with a section-by-section breakdown to help you decide what to work on next. Scores are estimates, not official scores.
Where can I see my progress?
Your dashboard shows completed sets, accuracy, and performance by topic. With Grind Mode on, it also highlights your strongest areas and the skills to review first.
Can I get a tutor?
Yes. StudyToday offers tutoring for the SAT, ISEE, AP, and AMC. Visit studytoday.us to learn more.
For tutors
How do I build a worksheet?
Filter the question bank by exam, skill, and difficulty, add questions to a problem set, then publish it to get a shareable link or export a PDF. The Tutor FAQ has step-by-step instructions.
Can I use AI to prepare lessons with Toiya?
Yes. Tutors can connect Claude or ChatGPT to the question bank and build worksheets by chatting. See the AI connector guide.
How do I become a tutor?
Fill out the StudyToday tutor interest form. Approved tutors get tutor accounts on Toiya with worksheet tools and the AI connector.
Can I add my own questions?
Yes. Tutors can add questions manually or through the AI connector. Your questions stay private to you unless you choose to submit them for publication.
Questions and accuracy
Where do the questions come from?
A mix of official materials (College Board, ERB, past AMC contests), questions from recent SAT tests, full-length practice tests, and Toiya-written questions in the official style. Details are on the question bank page.
What do the difficulty levels mean?
SAT, ISEE, and AP questions are rated 1 (easy), 2 (medium), or 3 (hard) compared with real test questions. AMC problems use 1–5.
